Bed-Side Essentials!

Everyone has things next to their bed side, right?! Well these are my absolute needs, keep reading to find out what they are and why I Must have them!

Body Butter and/or Lotion

My Body Shop Raspberry body butter is a must next to my bed. I apply this nightly to my feet and elbows, this stuff is the best. I love using it for these areas because it is so thick and creamy! I could definitely recommend this to anyone, awesome product! I am Also OBSESSED with the Black Currant  Vanilla Aromatherapy for BBW. I recently picked up the BODY LOTION in addition to my shower gel/body wash. This stuff smells great and I definitely recommend you to smell this next time youre in BBW!

Lip Balm

I cannot live without lip balms and butters. Theyre literally my everything. My newest obsession is my Rose Salve. This is such a staple in a lot of peoples makeup routines, and definitely mine! I apply this pretty much every half an hour, I know im insane. I also really recommend the Nivea Lip Butters! they're just as awesome and a cheaper alternative; even though these 2 lip balms are totally different. BRB going get my lip balm.....

Glasses

I know this isnt for everyone, but I am a 4 eyed freak, and they are one of my main essentials to survive in life! Not much of an explanation for that.. lol

Electronic Chargers

I have a 6-plug adapter next to my bed... so yea chargers. LOL I keep an iPhone 5 Charger, Kindle Charger, and a charger for Johns Nokia, with the additional slots for air-fresheners and guest chargers. This essential is a no brainer!

Headphones

For me these are a must. I keep my Urban Ears in the color Raspberry(I believe) next to my bed at all times and also my iPhone 5 earbuds! This are in such an easy reach for when I need to watch some videos or of course vines... totally obsessed. You can click here to purchase these Head phones! These are great for the price. Ive never owned Beats but I think these are great for someone that doesnt tend to wear headphones as much as earbuds.

A Good Book

I know, I know it is summer but reading is still a must for me and many others. The book pictured here is The Rules of Summer by Joanna Philbin. I can not tell you much about this book because i havent actually started reading it yet. I am currently reading Heaven is for Real (Movie edition) but  figured this book was a bit better for a summer blog post!

I hope you guys enjoyed this! Keep your eyes out on my Twitter and Instagram for picture of a new camera! I should be ordering one soon, then comes the start of maybe a youtube channel!! Tweet me or comment youtube channel names! Im not sure on a name yet, so im definitely open for name suggestions!! Thanks you guys for everything! check out my other social media!

What My Naked 2 Palette Was Hiding from Me

So this may sound a little funny, but today I came across a few things that I never noticed about my Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. Things like Bright Summer colors, eyeliners and secrets to a slimmer face. Keep reading to find out more.

How I Came Across This Mystery

I am the kind of person that 90% of the time wears neutrals. And this palette is great for that don't get me wrong, but lately I have been loving brighter colors. As me and other owners of this palette agree the colors are all of a similar hue and possess the same types of colors. The many shimmery neutrals in the palette seem to drown out the few bright colors of this palette.
In the photo above, you can see what looks like 2 totally different palettes. One photo shows the bright purple and pinky tones in the palette. In the bottom photo all of the colors look brown, and the true bright colors are not shown. As said before they were washed out by the neutrals. This blew my mind, and I felt like any owner of this palette should know to take a closer look at these colors.

Busted, Verve, and YDK

With these colors, I was definitely willing to open my Naked Palette back up. Today I was able to create a super gorgeous purple eye look, using my NAKED 2 PALETTE! Thats crazy considering it
is  WAS an all neutral palette.
As you can see from the swatches and photo below, the colors look soooo much different with the lighting focused on them. It really shows how bright and fun these colors can be.  Which, was what surprised me. The other warm neutrals next to these bright colors, have hidden them and drowned out the true color! Even shown in the advertisement picture on Ulta.com and Sephora.com, the colors look very washed out, they look as if they are all neutral browns.
Now that you know about this hidden beauties give them a whirl! I applied Busted(my new Fav!!) in the outer corner and Verve in the inner part of my lid. This gave an awesome summer look. But you can also apply a single color all over the lid - another gorgeous look!
After wearing this look all day, I definitely can say I have a new favorite summer eyelook. I am IN LOVE with busted, and definitely encourage all you Naked 2 mommies out their to come out of the comfort zone and try it.

Eyeshadow Eyeliner?!

As bragged about by the amazing Claire Legnon, "The black Liner I have on is really the black eyeshadow shade from my Naked Basics palette." This inspired me. My Naked 2 Palette include the shade blackout which is very similar to the Naked Basics Crave. So applied with a liner brush, you can have a soft matte liner, without  even using liner!? How crazy is that?!

The Perfect Highlight

This isnt a newbie for me, but i just thought I'd share another thing I love about my Naked 2 Palette.  This is the Highlight shades, even in the Naked Basics, they offer some awesome highlight colors! My total fav is Bootycall or maybe its just the name.. either way, I have confirmed the awesomeness of these highlighters with Naked 2 Mommy Elizabeth Labat! She says, "Most of the time I only use my Naked 2 palette for the highlights!" Well not now, because of the awesome colors now recognizable!\

Thanks for reading guys! Hope you enjoyed and maybe get some new looks from this! if you arent an owner of this product be sure to check it out here or even better try out some other cheaper dupes for these colors! Have Fun with these looks because summer dosent last all year!

Purple, Gold, And Bronze Makeup Look

I recently posted a video collage on instagram asking if a tutorial for this look would be liked. So here it is! I have recently been getting into false lashes, so I thought this woulfd be a great time to show them off!
I started off by already applying my primer, foundation, and setting powder. I Also applied Scotch tape to the edge of the bottom lash-line all the way up to the end of the brow. This will give us a nice clean eyeshadow look, and also help guide the eyeliner.

Prime

First things first, apply an  eyeshadow primer to help these shadows stay on all day, i used this primer by Jane Cosmetics. This step isnt necessary, because we will be using Maybelines 24/7 Color Tattoos, these are already a long wearing base, so primer in optional.

 Base (Cream Shadows)

After priming, again optional, apply the color Bad to the Bronze onto the outer part of your lid, and blend. I accidentally deleted the picture of this product so click here to see it.

After blending I applied Barely Branded to the inner part of my lid, tear duct, and you can also use this as a highlight.

I love this Color Tattoos, they are extremely long-lasting, so no worries, this look will not slide off!

Setting(Powder Shadows)

After applying both of these base colors I moved on the a powder to set these, since they are cremes. Here I used the Shimmer Eyeshadow by ELF cosemtics in the color Taupe. These are available onine here. They are super pigmented so one swipe of the brush and you're good! I applied this all over Barely Branded as a setting powder. This helped to brighten up the eye.
Next, Comes setting the Bad to the Bronze, For this is used a purple shadow. This really brings out the eyes(espeacially brown).
I used the purple from the NYC Individual eyes palette. This color is awesome and so pigmented. But of course you coul use any purple here.
I used a pencil brush to just slightly work the color into the outer crease and outer -v of the eye.

As you can see here the windshield whipper motions in the crease, then evenly blending it down into the rest of the outer corner.

Liner n' Lashes

After everything was completely blended out, I lined my bottom lash-mine wiht the 3rd darkest color in the Individual eyes palette. This color looks soooo good on the lower lash line and I love it!

Lastly I lined my top lash-line wiht my Jordana Fab-u-liner, and applied my Eco Tools Soft & Natural lashes.

And that is it! Finish off with a nude lip and youre ready for any LSU Party, Date, Or just an awesome look! Right now this is my go-to eyeshadow look! With under 5 colors, its quick and beautiful!

I hope you enjoyed this look! (first tutorial so dont be harsh) Like this and follow me on BlogLovin' for more looks! Also follow my instagram at JamiePizuto for more! Leave me comments on what i should do next!

Raspberry Obsession

Before this year I never was a Raspberry person, and never had tried them or anything of the flavor. I was first introduced to the best lip balm ever, by the internet of course -- and ever since I havent been afraid to try anything raspberry.

Nivea Lip Butter in Raspberry Rose kiss

I abslutely love these lip butters! So mosterizing and would definitly pass up any other lip bal for this. This is the first one I purchased and it is almost empty. Instead of repurchasing, I picked up the one in Vanilla and Macadamia Kiss. I absolutly love that one!! But both of these lip butters are the perfect milky color to even out lip lines! Love this line!

Jordana Blush in Hot Raspberry

This  bright pink blush is gorgeous! If you are an normal blog reader, you have seen this in one of my previous blog post! The color pigmentation is great! The swatch is also true to the color of the actual product, so it isnt one of these ones that totally changes colors on you. I would definilty snag one of these at Kmart or Walgreens because their greatly priced!

Raspberry Body Butter

This is my first body butter from The Body Shop. I love it! I picked this up around christmas time and will definilty be buying more when i finish this one. For almost 7 ounces of product they retail for $20. Not that bad, but a tad bit pricey. Click here to purchase this!

Flower Lipstick in Flamingo Flower

As said before this is my favorite lippie! I know, I Know, The name isnt raspberry, but I figured the color was close. So long wearing and at a great price too. To see more info on this great lipstick you can check out some of my other blog post! Theyre available at Walmart for around $6! I beleive this color may be discontinued, but the line is not! Love the brand Flower!

Raspberry Lemonade

Another first, but I am obsessed! Very similar to strawberry lemonade but better! I really love the market side one but any kind is great!

Addicted 2 Eyes

Hi Guys! Lately I have seen this palette around Ulta and I figured why not right? The cover of this palette looked very familiar to me, this was what drew me in! The photo on the front is actually the same picture on the Tarte Mattenificent Palette(Definitly on my wishlist).

A little background info: This palette was $12, includes 6 eyeshadows (1 matte - 5 lusterous), 2 brow powders, one Brow wax, and a double ended dome and angled brush. This palette also inclused 3 tutorials, these are similar to the full exsposure palette and some from the drug stores with tutorials.

Eyeshadows

The Shadows in this palette are nice and velvety(word or naw?), also they are very pigmented for a $12 eyeshadow palette.

The colors of them are definitly perfect for summer as they are very Summery and bright.

Brow Powder and Wax

As you can see the Brow wax is nothing sheer, it gives very good coverage. This product looks similar to the color of Anastasia Dip Brow in Chocolate. The thing that sucks, is if your brows are light, the wax probably won't work for you.

If you are a beginner at filling in your brows, this is a great idea. I have very dark brows are do not need much, so this was perfect for me. As I might not recommend it to someone with red-to-blonde eye brows.

If you are like me and go for the more neutral looks, you can also use the brow powders as shadows. They look so nice to warm up the crease, and also for all over the lid.

Tutorials

Lastly included in this palette are a few tutorials, I honeslty havent tried any of them because they are so bright -- neutral girl again-- but for anyone looking for bright inspiration these are great!

Like this palette? You can buy this here or at Ulta's near you! Hurry because they are not on Ulta.com!
This is not sponsered
